Mr. Thushara Wiewardena Deputy General Manager – Head of Credit, joined AAF PLC in October 2025. Mr. Wijewardena is a professional banker with more than 33 years of experience in Banking and Finance sector including General Management and Credit Management. He has been working as a Corporate Management member for 15 years in leading Finance Companies in Sri Lanka heading the Credit Operation, Credit Administration and Recoveries. He is an Associate of Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (AIB) and holds Masters of Business Studies from University of Colombo and Masters of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Kingston University in UK. Mr. Wijewardena is a trainer and a lecturer at AIA for the programs conducted by the Credit Management Institute of Sri Lanka (SLICM) and Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL). He plays a leading role by providing training to young professionals in Banking and Finance sector in Credit Management for a decade.
