Ms. Waruni Perera was appointed Deputy General Manager – Risk Management at Asia Asset Finance PLC in 2026. She possesses over 14 years of extensive experience in Sri Lanka’s Licensed Finance Company sector, having led the risk function at a leading financial institution and subsequently served with a global credit rating agency, where she specialized in Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) credit ratings.She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (ACMA). Ms. Perera holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Asia Asset Finance PLC, incorporated on 23rd September 1970, is rated Fitch rating A+ Stable Outlook and is licensed by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Finance Business Act No. 42 of 2011.
